Kern River Corgi Policies and Agreements
We do our best to spoil, love, and care for your puppy as we would do any of our own dogs until they are released to you. When you are ready to fill out our waitlist form please read over the following policies in order to further understand what we will be asking of you as a future Kern River Corgi pet owner. This is just a brief explination of each agreement. Before your puppy will be released to you we ask you to read and sign a full puppy agreement.

Spay and Neuter Contract
A spay/neuter agreement is required for all of our puppies purchased as pets only. We will consider breeding rights for responsible, established breeders. For these breeders we have a separate breeder contract. Through this we hope to better the breed and promote responsible breeding. We hope to do our part to prevent irresponsibly bred dogs from ending up in shelters or rescues.
-
Return Agreement
To ensure our puppies care we ask all future Kern River Corgi owners to sign a return agreement. This is a legally binding agreement. It is the new owner’s responsibility to contact Kern River Corgis if they are unable to keep or take care of their dog. It will then become our responsibility to rehome or keep the dog. Through this we hope to better the breed and promote the best possible care of the animals we are breeding. We hope to do our part to prevent irresponsibly bred dogs from ending up in shelters or rescues.
-
Vaccines and Health
It is our requirement that all future owners sign a vaccination and health agreement for the puppy they are purchasing. Our goal is to ensure the best vet care for all of animals and therefore we require that our dogs are always up to date on vaccines. If an owner is not able to do so we will ask that they refer to our return policy and return the dog back to our care.

Pricing and Policy
As part of our contract a pricing agreement must to be signed with ALL of our clients upon picking their puppy. This is a legally binding agreement that will ensure the health agreement, the buyer and breeders agreed upon price, as well as ensuring the buyer understands the non-refundable deposit policy, total price, payment method, and timeframe.
